kim, kim, write some more

whose baby?

Dear Diary, Brenda and I chuckle  sometimes over what we read in Kim’s blog. Kim is a regular at the studio and a bit of a bright spot in our days of cutting wool. She is usually looking for just the right shade, or a spark of inspiration. As Brenda says…” She could write a book.” Her blog is just about daily life, her life as a friend, pet owner, rug hooker, employee, and most of all as a caretaker for her mom. She tells the stories the way they happen, step by step, and you are traveling with her. You never know what she’ll have a picture of on there.  Often when she goes to tell us something at the studio, I say I read it on your blog, and sometimes I can’t believe what I read. Her posts crack me up, because she writes about real people, who must not read her blog! To say the least she’s frank, to say the most she’s delightful. One of the beautiful things about blogs is that it shows so many people they can write well, and express themselves so freely. It is easy to read  a story when it is written clearly and easily. When I read her blog about staying out too late, or baking cookies, or the gifts that arrived on Christmas Eve , I feel like she is standing on the sidewalk telling me. Sometimes Brenda and I chat about what we read there as we go about our days at the studio. She keeps me interested and I want to check back to see what she’s up to, how the kindle worked out,  whether they liked the cookies at the party she went to…whose party was that anyway?

She writes like a story… and Brenda’s right, that girl should write a book .  If you want to read about a good kind person living a full and giving life you might drop in on her blog.

  1. I’ll talk to Hollis and see . He is the whiz…. we should be able to.

  2. Hi Deanne!

Hope you have a joyous New Year!

I love your site–reading your blog! Would it be possible to add a forwarding feature that enables one to send a post to a friend to read? Often I’ll read a post and think “oh, so and so would love this”, but I can’t forward it.

  3. I agree about Kim. I was her first follower and love to read her posts as I do yours, Deanne. I have never met Kim and if she passed me in the street, I wouldn’t know her. But what I do know, is that we have alot in common and that she is a part of my life too and as a dear a friend as you can have!

Gee, I am almost speechless – which is quite a feat for me! Thank you (and Brenda) so much for the kind words. I am glad you are enjoying my ramblings and I often find myself wandering into the studio when I need a little lift. It is a wonderful spot in our little town.

    Thanks, thanks, thanks – Kim
