Debbie Champagne has hooked the hens

Dear Diary, It is so much fun when someone comes in to the studio with a pattern of mine that I have never seen hooked. The other day, Debbie Champagne from Sackville dropped in with the hens pattern all hooked up. She had bought it in the summer. Lots of times in the studio you will see patterns that never appear on the site because I just draw up freehand designs with pieces of backing that are left over from other studio projects. That is what I did with these hens. Though when I saw what Debbie had done with them, I reminded myself, that is a pattern worth keeping.

Thanks Debbie, you did a great job.

What a cheerful rug! I love the way Debbie has outlined the crown of the one chicken so that it shows up so nicely against the other chicken. Great work!
