the women around me
Dear Diary, One of the things I love about women is the way we pet each other. We are always telling each other about what we like about we’re wearing, our jewelry, our hair, our skin, our skin. A good woman friend recognizes the best in you and brings it out. She points out the simple things, your strengths and acts as the counter to your own voice that complains about the size of your hips, the lines around your eyes.
A good woman friend reminds you, you are lucky to have your eyes, so shut up about the lines around them. Some of them anyway. Some of them will tell you about a new cream she’s using. Our women friends are all different.
I can’t see women any other way than beautiful. It is why I hook them over and over again. There is just so much to see. I love the clothes , the accessories, the baubles, the moxy. There is a joy in it, the recreating of what I see in the women around me

Love that edythe, thank yoy.
When I look at your “hooked women” mats, I love it that I’m a woman!
Hardly ever but once in awhile. I like the pajama idea
That’s one of the thing that makes your rugs so interesting. What you choose to hook is real and full of life that tell stories.
Deanne,
Do you ever hook women wearing pants, or pyjamas?
