the hands that hold the hook are peace making hands

with every stitch they make a little peace between the mind , body and soul

the hands that hold the hook are creative hands

with every stitch they turn what was lost into something found

   Well stated, I hook, and paint as well, and I love taking a blank canvas, and putting brush to canvas, and
   creating a picture, that will bring smiles to others…or make you stop and think; or using scraps of wool,
   and yarn to create a rug, or pillow top…great satisfaction for the soul!
